Nipit: EC should be held accountable for damages for Feb 2 poll fiasco

BANGKOK: -- The Election Commission should be held accountable for the nullification of the February 2 election by the Constitutional Court because if the commission had not staged the election there would not have been any damages, said Mr Nipit Intharasombat, deputy leader of the Democrat party, today.

Phuket court issues arrest warrants for Ukrainian ‘abduction’ soldiers

Thai Govt 'Willing' To Abolish Death Penalty: Official

Norwegian tourist fatally injured in Koh Tao diving accident

A Norwegian tourist was fatally injured while scuba diving when she was hit by the propeller of a passing boat near Koh Tao in Thailand’s southern province of Surat Thani on December 22, according to local police.
