Retirement extension. Renewal timing ?

My current Extension based on Retirement expires Jan 14th how long before this date can I make application for a new one ?

appreciate it may vary from office to office, but a general idea would be fine.

Normally 30 days before and in some offices up to 45 days if you have travel plans that interfer

The immigration offices will be open on Dec 24 and 25, but closed Dec 31 and Jan 1. Christmas Day should be a little on the slow side at your local immigration office.

Immigration will also be closed on the 2nd (added holiday by gov).

my last extension based on Retirement expires on 28th December.

Did my renewal on 20th November no problem, so good till December 2015...... my 90 day reporting ran out on 23rd November so had to go to Immigration anyway
