leaving Thailand on Thai/British passports

Featured Replies

My wife and son have both Thai and British passports. We will all be leaving Thailand next year for the forseeable future. When checking in at Bangkok airport they will produce Thai passports to leave and British passports as proof of entry permission to the UK. Because we do not plan t retrun for a few years we have purchase only one way tickets.

Doe anyone have experince with leaving thailand with dual passports? o r experinced any problems?

thanks for any info or advice :)

Should be no issue, show both to the check-in operator but only the Thai passports to immigration.

No problem to leave with on way tickets because you will be showing UK passports when you check in for your flight to prove you don't need visas for entry.

You wife and son will only show their Thai passports to immigration.
