Ferries Donsak to Samui?

Featured Replies

I'd say they are both correct, the service still running but not complete service, the cancelations maybe due to it taking much longer to get to Samui through the waves.

I don't know if it is weather delays but based on the sailing times given by the Samui Times the 7am, 11am and 3pm from Donsak and the 9am, 1pm and 5pm from Samui services would normally all be done by the same boat (1.5 hours each way + 30 minutes to unload and reload). So it sounds like a boat has broken down.

So I would say that the first link is saying that the ferry services are running but may be delayed due to the waves (the Lomprayah from Koh Tao arrived on Koh Phangan 1.5 hours late this morning), the second link is saying that some services by Seatran are cancelled, most of which would have been done by the same boat anyway.

Hello, can someone tell me why the 5am ferry from Koh Phanghan to Donsak cannot be booked online ? It is not marked as fully booking but the check box cannot be ticked ?

Why I do not trust a website and staff from anywhere ? I checked website and called Raja but of course I only got stupid wrong replies.

Nobody is able to tell why the 5am boat cannot be booked online when selecting 4-wheel !!!!
