G'day all, I have decided to com to LOS again probably in feb 07 for perhaps 2 months Pattaya in fact, will rent Condo, can anyone give me any advice as to travelling up to Cambodia ? Would it be best by train or Fly or ??????????.

I heard by rumour that it is cheaper than T/land, does anyone have any experience of this, I am not a backpacker, nor a penny pincher but can sleep anywhere safe as to speak.

Ie how far is Angot wat from the border, I like culture as well as the ladys (gems) lol

thank's in advance for any sensible replys.......... Roy

Hi Roy

No I have not been to Cambodia. But intend to soon to visit Angkor Wat, so will stay in Siam Reap at the Dead Fish tower hotel http://www.talesofasia.com/cambodia-deadfish.htm sounds a really interesting place.

I am particularly pleased that as they say in the advertising blurb... they do not cook Dog, Cat, Worm or Rat. Thats a relief s'pose by worm they mean snake!!! :o

Have a great time TBWG :D

It is in Siem Reap which has direct flights from BKK and is the nearest place to Angkor Wat, let the hotel know and they will arrange to meet you at airport.

As for the women ...no comment, wife might read it!!!

Forgot this , I was watching a travel program early hours of this morning, and they said Thailand will be the main Junction to the other Asia countries that surround it, ie Cambodia, Burma Indonesia, etc, and soon you will not need a visa to visit the others that have a aggrement with Thai government, and vise versa, sort of like the eu, visit uk france germany etc, don't know when this will be implemented, .....Roy
