NACC to ask Finance Ministry to file damage suit against Yingluck and Boonsong

Featured Replies

My initial reaction to reading this thread is that a lot of posters seems to feel that it will not happen or that the court system will take so long that it will be all forgotten by the time it gets, if ever, to trial etc. That may have been the case in the past and maybe so in the future but it is an unknown maybe. Don't we have more corrupt/ill-doing persons of status; politicians, police, hi-sos, in jail or under investigation than ever before in Thailand's history? I feel it unfair to base the future on the past when it is so clear that the current administrations intends to enforce the law and punish this countries well-positioned wrongdoers rather than let them get away with it as has mostly happened in the past.

I for one will not jump the gun and predict or foresee the future but will sit back and give the PM and his administration adequate time to see if they can fulfill their promises. I wish them all the best in doing so.

I make no comment upon the legality of what the PM is trying to do here as I'm not a lawyer and will leave that up to those qualified.

Everyday, every hour, every minute, Thailand is feeling the negative effects of Suthep and his gang of Thugs directly to the economy and poor people of Thailand. This is the truth and measurable. The rest of you peoples comments are assumptions and general BS. How quickly many of this crowd forgets how much damage this guy did and is still doing to this country all the while being allowed to live a "monks" life.

And you choose to totally and conveniently ignore why the protests took place.

I suspect most TV members would agree that suthep is no saint and he has some baggage, but he did ultimately generate the removal of a gang of thieves / a gang of scaly no credibility no morals no values politicians trough sitters who if possible would have passed laws etc., to ensure they simply could not be removed ever.

Somebody will retort with 'yingluck democratic government / democratically elected'. Just replace democratic with autocratic and dictator and your closer to the truth.

So you give him a pass for the billions of dollars he has cost Thailand and is continuing to cost the poor citizens? Ask that poor street vendor about how their life has been recently with the loss of tourist baht....

What the <deleted> do you guys want....one day its democratically elected officials and the day before well you chose and say people buy elections. SMH.

Suthep was nothing but a cover for the military takeover plain and simple. A cover that has been strangely left alone and no blame put on him by his boss the P Man.

Why doesnt the current military government pursue a course of action against Suthep?

Easy answer because this is nothing more but a purge of the Tak man. The <deleted> military to include Suthep is nothing but puppets for others as has always been and will probably be for at least a few more years.

I find it strange that so many of you people dont really understand what is going on??

I also find it interesting that so many of you "yellow" cronies are so caught up in the thai red/yellow shirt hatred.

This country is an archaic system seriously lost in a modern world. Kinda like Gulliver's travels.

Can I get an Amen from all ya'll who get this? smile.png

Suthep is merely a catalyst

Suthep was not a catalyst, he only resigned from politics and the democrat party and came along as a leader after the people were already protesting.

Not only were they protesting in BKK but in many other parts of the country as well including the far north where the reds were protesting about Abhisit and Suthep being included in the amnesty bill, they were also protesting about the blatant corruption and the sneaky changes to section 190 of the constitution.

I have photos to prove this but as this is only a trolls deviation from the subject I wont bother posting them.

Suthep was indeed the catalyst....for a bigger picture than I guess you realize.

Some people should return to La La land, before posting.

Going by your silly conspiracy posts my knowledge is far greater than yours, if there is ever a topic on it then I would be happy to post links and quotes to prove it.

However this topic is about the NACC asking the F M to file damages regarding the rice pledging scheme which you are doing your best to deviated from.

If you would like to comment on the topic at hand please do so, otherwise go away.

Where's that? Guess you are a Suthep supporter. Probably stayed at the Dusit Thani and partied with him every night. Oh I think I saw you in the "After Coup Party" he had. lol

I'll just repeat my previous comment.

Perhaps just for you I should capitalise it!!!

THat would be against forum rules. Also I personally doubt it would help wink.png

With all your comments I am slowly coming to the conclusion that you are not a tax payer in Thailand and therefore don't care.

Every man, woman, child is a taxpayer in Thailand. Thailand has lots of taxes, VAT, business, etc. as well as, the paid by only a small part of the population, income tax.

Strictly speaking you're right and I should have been more precise in my description as surely I meant "income tax payer".

BTW most people anywhere are tax payers with the possible exception of the just born who don't buy anything yet smile.png

The whole scheme was a gamble.

Thaksin was quite vocal about how they would drive priced up and profit on the scheme.

They lost the bet.

Why should us taxpayers have to pay the losses?
