Noi657
Just days after one of its planes went missing and crashed, AirAsia has suffered another blow after an aircraft skidded off and overshot the runway during landing. Passengers were pictured leaving the jet using emergency slides following the scare which happened in the central Philippines during bad weather. Nobody was reported to be injured in the incident involving flight Z2272 from the capital Manila to Kalibo, with 159 passengers and crew on board. The AirAsia Zest jet ended up in a grassy area and reportedly got stuck in a muddy field. Three tyres were believed to be stuck and officials said the busy airport would be closed to air traffic until the aircraft was towed away.
