Thailand ISPs given authority to block content

Perhaps someone can enlighten me why this will affect any of us; and; why is it any different to:

1. Censorship laws/age approvals by the movie industry

2. ISPs who already regulate on line porn content and the like; again age related.

3. censorship of all our posts on every forum going by moderators.

If they want to block me from viewing troll content or comment against the Government or Monarchy here then its no skin off my back. I am used to reading heavily censored BBC news stories but that's normal isnt it?

I remember last year when the military took over, the number of sites blocked was incredible; I couldnt get on any Uk newspaper or porn websites (I did get lots of advice on how to circumnavigate the latter though)

For the sake of its readers safety, can TV please provide a detailed list of examples that would be considered threats to national security and/or offensive to the Thai government? Is the Junta, NCPO and military in general considered the "Thai government?" TV failure for guidance might be seen as criminal negligence by the government, so giving its readers guidance is in its best interest.

Happy New Year.
