The only relevance to having been at the scene of a suicide is if you were at this one. But one thing extremely common in suicides is there are always questions left unanswered and often doubters of it being a suicide regardless of who investigates.

That's 5 dodgy possible or actual murder scenes involving tourists in one year on Ko Tao alone, if I have my dates correct. Swept under the rug, except for the high profile one we all know and love which doesn't seem to have much chance of ever being investigated.

I choose to continue to stay here myself and think Thailand is still less dangerous in terms of being murdered than the wild wild west where I come from. But, I hope that at some point the media will recognize a good opportunity to do some good investigative stories and documentaries about the situation here because as it is Thailand is still perceived as being some kind of happy gentle garden of eden when in fact it is a much more mixed bag than that.

Aside from the obvious things that are wrong about the whole picture, not everyone choosing to come to Thailand is making a choice based on understanding the reality here. That is the only thing, at this point, that you can realistically hope will change: that eventually most of the world will know very well what can happen here if you slip up and say the wrong thing to the wrong person or become involved in some other "misunderstanding."

Sadly been on scene a few times. I have lived in the real world.

Note my earlier point regarding knots.

You can pull any academic article that counter claims another point.

Even BIB are now suspicious.

So, how many knots were tied? What is the type of knot? What is the material used to tie his hand? Clearly you must know that there are no other knots based on your being able to see less than 1/4 of the rope and only half a wrist.

I guarantee your claimed experience of being at suicides doesn't come close to the textbooks that actual proven experts in the field have wrote on the subject ... if I am wrong, just point me to the link of where you have been called on to share your expert opinions on suicides or knots (based on low res image of a partial rope and wrist) ... if your expert opinion only has been called on by yourself on this Thaivisa then don't bother providing links.

Clearly you lack even the most basic investigative knowledge as you are stating my mind is not just made up but clearly made when in fact I have expressed absolutely no opinion because I don't have one as I have made clear I don't have all the information ... all I have done is stated that it is not uncommon for a victim of a suicide to have their hands tied ... which is not an opinion but actual recorded fact and well documented by actual experts.
