Trolleybuses are popular in Europe and are making a comeback in other parts of the world.

Advances in battery technology mean they can be released from the constraints of the wires for parts of the route removing one of their biggest issues. Cheaper infrastructure than trams or light rail, cheaper operating costs and less pollution than regular diesel powered Bus Rapid Transit.

yes have seen them in czech ten years ago but they were strictly on grid so didnt consider it was possible for off grid excursions as well.thumbsup.gif

if the infrastructure is in place wonder why private cars and trucks couldnt be made to use it too.

Back in Melbourne Australia they steered themselves! And the front 'n' back look the same.
