Visa runs

Featured Replies

There was something in the news in Aug 2014 that the authorities were going to clamp down on visa runs. I'm wondering any of you guys have successfully done visa runs over the past week? Any problems with immigration?

What kind of visa run. New entry from a visa? Visa exempt entry? Or to get a visa?

Only visa exempt entries have been restricted. All others are the same.

If you have a visa exempt entry you can extend it at immigration for 30 days for a fee of 1900 baht.

Visa exempt entry only for 15 days right?

Visa exempt entry only for 15 days right?

It depends on nationality, e.g. if G7 one gets 30 days at land border

It Is called G8, (even though there are 7 member states and also the EU).

Link please, relatative to visa-exempt entry in Thailand.

The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place
