  • I would just like to see a big CLOSED sign. Cant think of one positive reason for them to exist at all. Then perhaps a decent store would replace them.

I want them to sell what the Aldi and the Lidl sells and for the same prices ...

  • I would like to see many more staff in the electrical goods section. I went in a few weeks ago and there were only 12 or so in a big group watching TV. Admittedly, as I walked past on my way to loo

What is the purpose of this post? I'm sure we all have something to add but is there any point?

My addition is simple: GOOD WINE

Deli turkey meats, Mexican foods (salsa, tortillas & tortilla chips, cheeses), Giardiniera (a Chicago food, my God I miss that). That's it off the top off my head.

Natural Peanut Butter and Nutritional Yeast

Corned beef, they used to sell it when I came here nine years ago.

Close up shop and let Villa or Foodland take over.

Not Villa please, they are way too expensive.

closure?

Forget Villa, go to Friendship.

Yeah, or maybe less expired yogurt on the shelf would be a good start, instead of adding more stuff?

I'd like to find endives... I miss it really !

At big c extra Pattaya--old Carrefour--less of their food ruined by too much salt. Have had inedible quiches, roast potatoes and some of the Thai prepared meals have been the same.Telling them has made no difference .

Arby

Diet Dr. Pepper soda!

thumbsup.gif

yorkshire puddings, savoury ducks, roast potatoes, dumplings, sage and onion stuffing, tomato soup in packets, toad in the hole and lamb cutlets

Instead of coupons for loyalty spending, what about some of their staff `doing a turn` whistling.gif

Roller Disco

Id like to see Suthep and the new junta chief work for them in electronics

More French casino brand products and less ofthese us uk shiite 'food' !

I want them to sell licorice, more specific Klene muntendrop. And LaPaz wild havanna, the metal boxes, and..........

But as a previous poster already stated: Aldi, Lidl , pls come to thailand.

I keep on dreaming - theyre not that stupid.

Rooster poison.

Less rats as they seem to be infested in pattaya bigc xtra...Maybe the xtra is for xtra rodents

Defamation, go to jail !

;-)

Though the older Big C in Hat Yai is just a complete waste of space, I actually find Tesco the worst in general so this post is directed at it.

I would like to see:

<RANT> the removal of shelf after shelf of Chinese plastic crap, the removal of shelf after shelf of cheap noodles and powdered milks and the removal of space-wasting, crap clothes. Substitute for edible food and useful things for the home instead of crap, crap, crapola. More focus on fresh foods and fruit, less focus on rubbish. AND PLEASE HAVE MORE THAN 10 OUT OF 35 CHECKOUT TILLS OPEN!!!! The sooner the UK sells Tesco Lotus to someone that is interested in actually selling quality foods (like the REAL Tesco does), the better. Of the budget supermarkets, Carrefour was a big loss for Thailand.</RANT>

Everything you can get in its parent company Casino's supermarkets in France.

The best reason to go there now is the small range of Casino products that they do offer, such as excellent coffee at far lower prices than coffee of equivalent quality in other supermarkets. Pur Bresil, Colombie, Ethiopie, Mexique, etc.

Their French cheeses are also far cheaper than equivalents elsewhere.

Their pesto, vinegar and chocolate are also bargains.

only if it wasn't true I have video

The Big C (Cancer I think is the term used in the West) near me used to be Carrefour. Carrefour actually stocked products on a regular basis..in other words kept the shelves full. It seems since these have taken over you cannot have any idea as to what products they will have in stock on a daily basis! , you cannot even buy GARLIC! One week they have French Fries, next week they don't , same with frozen veg. like peas etc. at least Tesco is pretty consistent, provides an excellent home delivery.

Big C (rap) provides jobs for lazy, deleted> that like to hang out in groups on their mobiles, they have no idea what a customer is other than an inconvenience -<deleted> had a lick of sense they would sack the lot of them and put in self service tills - Big C = CANCER!

(american) supplements, at american prices , not 3x more expensive

I would like to be able to find some staff member who can communicate in English.

I'm guessing the Big-C in Ubon is different than the one in Pattaya or Phuket or whichever one here some people consider less than worthless.

I'm not a frequent customer but whenever I go to the one in Ubon they seem to be well stocked, clean, helpful staff that don't stalk you like they do in Home Pro or Tesco.

To replace Big-C with Lidl or Aldi seems like a big downgrade based on my experiences with those places in the Netherlands.
