double entry tourist visa - changes?

planning a trip to Thailand and wanted some information regarding changes to visas.

- came to Thailand on a 30 day visa exempt entry in 2011

- Feb 2013 - August 2013 i stayed in Thailand on a double entry tourist visa

- Feb 2014 - August 2014 i stayed in Thailand on a double entry tourist visa

i would like to come to Thailand in February of this year for possibly upto six months again if i am able, my questions are as follows:

1) will i be able to get another double entry tourist visa despite having had two already?

2) will i be questioned at immigration upon arrival and made to show funds and a detailed travel itinerary? (this didn't happen on either previous trip, and if so how detailed will the itinerary have to be?)

3) will i be able to easily obtain thirty day extensions on each of the two entries on my visa? (this was merely a formality the last two trips)

4) when it comes time to exit and re-enter to activate the second entry will i be able to do this in a single day at a land border crossing point ie mae sai? or will i have to fly out and stay outside of Thailand for a cpl of days?

Im concerned as there has been talk of tightening visa regulations etc and was unsure as to what changes if any have been put in place and if they would effect tourist visas, thanks for any advice on this matter

4. You can leave and re-enter the country on the same day by land or air.

There has been no changes to getting tourist visas nor doing entries or extensions. Only visa exempt entries have been restricted.

I suggest you get a tourist visa before traveling to here.
