I know nothing.

But it looks to me like the guy who is playing the players ain't buying them.

Anyway up, replacement of Bale has brought no more success than when you had Harry doing the football.

So why does it look like that to you ? inside info, reading the tabloids, a wild guess !!!!!!

I think there is a combination of factors at play here.

A new manager finding his feet and playing guys he knows and trusts thier ability no matter if a tad limited in areas rather than taking risks early on.

Of course there are injuries to take into account as well.

I'm a bit dumbfounded as to why Paulinho can't get a start right now though.....

Erikson should surely be played through the middle with either Adebayor or Soldado....we need a left winger....hello....Mr Levy...are you listening?....or maybe I should say it in Italian.

Let's just hope in the summer we don't lose our goalkeeper or best central defender.

I don't give a monkey's what Spurs do apart from taking points off Liverpool.

Up to Levy or some other geezer to get their act sorted.

Looking in the Spurs window just gives you grief.

Spurs spend 100mil and don't make top 4.

Chelsea and City get grief for spending their money wisely.

Same kind of crap on the Liverpool and United threads too.

And Real Madrid bought Bale for peanuts.

thumbsup.gif

Give Moyes or Sherwood £200mil in this year's window and I'd be worried.

cheesy.gif

Its all about percentages....and your lot have bought more than your share of dud players....it is just less obvious every week because you have bought so many.....and just look at some you have loaned out.

Not smart some of the decisions made by your management....but you can always throw another £200m at it and laugh.

We haven't bought many dud players Smokie. (Ok throw Torres at me).

Abramovich has been applying FFP legislation since 2010-11.

Buy young players with potential, and loan them.

As for the future, Chelsea will be playing football in 5 years time, and if it is not at the very highest level I would be surprised.

Spurs? EPL or CL Champions. ?

Same rules for everybody.

Don't give me any bs about the money buying success because Levy and your other geezer are hard nosed businessmen.

Hypocrisy.

Its not hypocrisy....just the reality of modern football.....to get in the top two or three in the English game requires spending massive amounts to get the best players in. As shown last summer.....even if you have plenty of cash to spend someone else, and I am talking about a handful of other free spending clubs around Europe too, will snatch them from you by offering more money or CL football.

Leaves the rest of the league fighting for the crumbs left over which can admittedly still be attainable in England....less so in other countries.

Same rules? If you really believe that good luck to you when Abramovich leaves or dies mysteriously etc.....

Ask Baldini?

Sounds like some kind of 19th century mystic........The Great Baldini....

Or Magician....a crap one. Maybe an escape artist yet...slipping out the back door in the summer biggrin.png

Is he really BB, do you know what his actual role is at the Spurs ?

Was having a bit of banter with Ups there Alfie no need to get your knickers in a bunch. The Great Ballsini is technical director is he not?

You will never get away from the fact you spent 107M on 7 players who have not progressed your team this season, so much so your manager was sacked after record beatings. I know if that was Liverpool I'd be quite happy to agree, I don't see why you can't.

And what does Maureen do if Sugar Daddy dies or disappears?

Mourhino is doing the football, Abramovich is signing the cheques.

Just like Shankly said.

If Rodgers gives City and Chelsea a run for their money, Shankly will be laughing.

And Brendan will have respect, as well as money and future employment.

For Guardiola and Mourhino it is NOT about the money. It is about FOOTBALL.

Tim Sherwood is possibly the same.

Respect.

Tell you what I think. Abramovich and Mourinho are on a mission.

Both are financially comfortable. They are aiming to leave a mark.

That is what scares me about Guardiola.

Mourinho knows this.

'Give me the weapons and we will fight.'

Nou Camp, Bernebau, big stuff.

And when they are old, as Mourhino has publicly stated, they will probably manage national teams.

And either or both could end up winning the World Cup.

If not, why get out of bed in the morning?thumbsup.gif

and while you are fiddling about with your calculator and cheque book Alfie, somebody, somewhere is playing magnificent football in front of millions of spectators.

Levy either gets on the park or he can sit in the shed. Up to him.

A disrespectful comment about a bloke who appears to be able to compete at the highest level ( sorry highest money) by getting players to play the highest quality football.

I'd have him over Hodgson anyday.thumbsup.gif

How about starting with Chiriches or whatever is name is to deal with Suarez tomorrow?

Cos some f****** is going to have to do it.

NAh 4 its faults they'll start with kaboul and verity, a right footer ad a left footer. You just cant start with 2 right footers in c/d against suarez, its suicidale as we found out last time!!! And maybe bento boy will track suarez and get in his face and look to get a reaction ? desperate i know but there you. go.
