I came in to BKK yesterday, arriving at 4pm. I searched for the Priority Lane, and when I found it, asked the IMM guy if it was for Biz Class, he said "no" and pointed me the direction of general IMM section which was massive, (and I would expect would take at least 1 hour or more). When there I asked another IMM officer, and he told me "no Priority Lane", only "Diplomatic". So back I went to the small lane for "crew" and unmarked on the left and joined that. About 100 people queuing, including LTR, Elite, Elderly etc. There were several kiosks in operation. Moved along quite quickly, (20 minutes or so). IMM Officer never questioned why I was in this Q. I haven't travelled much recently, but BKK seems shambolic, and obviously I arrived around the same time as several large plane loads. For the main IMM line, it snaked into the main hall. The next issue however was the TDAC, which I had completed online. I had left this section blank, (as I could not complete it...it would not accept any insertion in any box). The IO asked me to show what my address was, so I typed it out on my phone, and explained that I could not enter data. She said to show arrival and departure date as the same and then add my residential address, but I cannot see how to do this. Anyway, eventually she stamped me in. Is there a fault in the TDAC? (I would be shocked, and horrified)😉 Does anyone know the work around to include the address of a non Thai resident? I had my pink ID with me, but was so flummoxed by the situation, I forgot to show it.
