Carmine I misread your "if Kane scored fifty goals a season" to be "...a year". So yes if Kane could score fifty goals a season then I would have to acknowledge him as the greatest goalscoorer of my lifetime in England. But it ain't going to happen is it, as to score that many goals you need to have natural goalscoring talent (Kane has that) and be in a team that creates for you exceptional amount of goalscoring opportunities (not sure Spurs is such a team/club).

Well by the same token you'd have to surely describe his year as phenomenal given the paucity of opportunity at his disposal.

Paucity of opportunity? Thought Spurs were the 2nd best team in England last season (half of his year) so there should have been plenty not paucity of opportunity.

I guess it helps greatly also that Kane has no competitor for his position so is guaranteed to start (= lots of opportunity).

Ronnie, I was being kind to Spurs, sorry for my vagueness. So correction: Spurs is not such a team.

Then give proper recognition to his wonderful achievement this year.

^Still being abusive to forum members I see Carmine (to evenstevens)...isn't that against the forum rules?

Isn't your persistent trolling on our thread?

I also see you have ignored his continued trolling!!  Go away BB and stick to your thread, clearly a better idea.

"Kane not a natural goalscoring talent"  You are either a boring troll or a complete idiot.  I'll leave you to decide.  My bet is a lot of both.

Why I reckon Kane will move on in the next 18 months.

Kane is the 35th highest earner in the EPL.

10 Man United players and 9 Man City stars take home more every week than Kane.

Seven of the Premier League’s top eight earners in fact play for City and United, with Chelsea’s Eden Hazard crashing the party in tied-sixth on £200,000-a-week.

*Check out Walker compared to Kane.

Nice stats BB but you might consider us offering Kane a new deal as well.

At some point our wage structure will change...will it be soon enough?

The stadium funding is the key issue.
