Iran vows to stand by Lebanese resistance against Israeli attack
English.news.cn

BEIRUT, Jan. 30 (Xinhua) -- Visiting Chairman of the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee in the Iranian parliament Alaeddin Boroujerdi, congratulated the Shiite militant party of Hezbollah on its operation in retaliation to an Israeli airstrike.

Bourouherdi arrived in Lebanon Thursday a day after Hezbollah launched an attack against an Israeli convoy in the occupied Shebaa Farms that left two Israeli troops dead.

He said at Beirut Rafic Hariri airport "The Qoneitra attack demonstrates that the Zionist entity does not have limits to its crimes."

He expressed his "sorrow and pride over the martyrs who fell in the airstrike," saying that Iran will continue to stand by the "Lebanese resistance."

The problem is that all sides are pushing their aims and ideals to the brink, before long there is going to be an almighty backlash.

The whole region is a smouldering forest fire being stoked by interested parties from around the world that will if not checked engulf the whole world in yet another world war.

So why not just declare war on Israel?

Oh thats right..... You would be wiped out in a month at the most and lose a nice big chunk of your country to Israel. Just like Lebanon, Egypt, Jordan and Syria failed to knock over Israel back in 47 and 67.

Hezbollah made South Lebanon too hot for the Israeli occupiers and they withdrew in 2000

They illegally held on to the Shebaa Farms however, and that is where the two Israeli soldiers were killed.

They were in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Be careful what you wish for, Iran.

Why do you think the US has invaded/attacked/giving democracy and assisting freedom fighters/terrorists everywhere except Iran?

All the western powers and arab nations were providing Iraq with money, weapons and satellite pictures during the 8 year long Iran-Iraq war. Iraq begged for peace after 2 years of hell but the crazy mullahs kept the war going for 6 more years. Saudi Arabia were even willing to cover Irans costs to end it.

Iran is a regional power. Thats why all the arab countries munch US willy.

A big reason why no one wants to attack Iran is cause Iran can easily and continually make problems in many arab countries, the west bank, Gaza and Afghanistan. Problems in Lebanon once a week might become once every evening. Get it?

Lay down the gun, leave your cowboy balls in your pants and pick up neutral factual papers and books.

Israel will never declare war on Iran.

Yes, Israel can bomb Iran to pieces in theory, but thats just theory.

You probably think FOX news is the news.

Read my last post.

You dont have to declare a war, ever heard about proxy wars?

Like when Soviet and US were using other countries with soldiers/freedom fighters/terrorists/militants/extremists from other countries as battlegrounds while fighting eachother?

Anonymous poster with a cowboy avatar warns Iran....coffee1.gif

I suspect Iran takes heed of cowboys more than they do Democrats, judging by the fact Iran released the U.S embassy hostages the day Ronald Reagan came to office. Carter on the other hand presided over Iran falling to an Islamic theocracy.

When said poster sporting the cowboy avatar sits in the oval office, his online threats may be taken seriously. Until then....

I'll have to say I'd probably vote for him, if this was an option - would make a fun change from the usual talking heads.
