Thai conservative activist warns of US 'terrorism'

Featured Replies

Isn't it funny that 99% of the posters here are making fun out of something they have no clue about ?

Why does the US have military basis in 75% of ALL countries on the planet and why would Thailand be an exception ?

What is the geopolitical view of the US for South east asia ? [... especially with China as their biggest [economic] enemy in the region ?]

How can the US can get more access to SE Asia .... easier than through Thailand ?

... it's all way more complicated than the simple minded posters on here might think !

And way more dangerous for ALL of us, not only Thailand !

The US is a maniac on the lose and it might be a good thing to be aware of it !!!

PS:

This has nothing to do with the american people ... this is about US geopolitical interests

which are completely AGAINST the interests of the american people !!!

Golly.

So many intimidating questions and yelling.

I just don't know what to say...

  • I hear something like this from a lot of anti-American Thais. They seem to think the US wants Thailand and its oil. Yes, oil! Thailand can't supply its own energy needs and the US wants their oil?

There are many ways for USA to reassert its dominance in Thailand........

-make a deal with the generals.

-destabilize current situation until Mr. T can come back as savior.

-continue secret subversion and deals with powerful Thai biz folks.

-put on sanctions and squeeze a usa favorable situation.

USA no longer invades nations like Panama. They just install "their man" and that guy runs the nation for them.

Manny was already installed.

He just got too big for his britches.

Taking a bigger cut.

US government foreign policy has a chequered history of launching coups/invasions into other nations (there's a post above mine with lots of details on that).

However them invading Thailand? How completely laughable, that would only happen if there was some sort of open war with China and The States. But I seriously doubt another world war will ever break out, too many nations have too much money tied up with each other. A proxy war? Who? Where in this region?

Just some rambling mental old man.

This diplomatic incident is not even on the radar of the US news media.

Dumb asses like him, will always be around.

And yet your statements often are of a similar message.

One thing this incredibly egocentric nitwit is not taking into account, is the primary fact that the US only attempts to control a country if it benefits them on some level. Minerals, oil wealth, banking, strategic interests, etc. With the exception of the latter, there is simply no incentive for an "invasion". This guy should focus on music. He is out of his element, when it comes to geopolitics. I wonder if he could locate the US on a world map. Since the US already has multiple strategic partners in the region, there is nothing but downside for them. Who on earth would want to inherit the kind of political turmoil this place suffers from?

Sometimes, one has to just roll ones eyes, and dismiss the circus jesters, such as this guy.

,,,another one whose brain was blown off his head...
