I'm currently on a multiple entry non immigration O visa. I need to depart Thailand soon and return as per the requirements for my visa. Do I need to submit a TM 8 form or any other documentation prior to departure or do nothing and depart Thailand and then return. I will be going to the boarder by private transport, so there's no one I can relate to such as a visa run operator. Thanks.

If leaving within the prescribed maximum single stay per the visa, nothing required apart from the completed Departure card that you would have received on arrival. When you re-enter, you will get a new Arrival/Departure card and the only thing is to check that the date stamps you get on re-entry are correct (match the visa stipulations) before you leave the point of entry. Wrong dates are infrequent but not unknown but can be a chore to get corrected after the fact.
