Tandam skydiving is very safe in my opinion, but it doesn't help with a pilot like this in the sport.

For those wondering, the plane is a Porter, it has a PT6 up the front which can leggaly be pulled into "beta" in flight while installed on the Porter. This makes the prop flat, basicly a huge disk with massis drag. However, tis is not required to actually over take skydivers in free fall, other machines like meatbombing Kingairs also have no problems doing the same.

A SKYDIVING instructor who was nearly cut in half by a free-falling plane has posted terrifying video footage of the near-death jump online.

Just as he had done many times before, Forest Pullman and his female passenger jumped out of the plane above Pattaya in Thailand.

But rather than continue to fly straight, the plane nosedived after the pair had jumped, missing them by metres and clipping their drogue chute instead.

Mr Pullman posted the video with the accompanying caption: “After an uneventful exit the pilot dove the airplane 180 degrees right at me and my tandem passenger. How did we get so lucky? Not sure.”

“I have never heard of this happening,” he said.

The plane is believed to be registered with Thai Sky Adventure, a professional sky diving service based in Pattaya.

Another reason you won't get me doing this sport.

It would have been good to see him punch the useless pilot.
