Magnificent place to stay. Last time i was there was new years eve 2013 and into 2014, so just over a year ago. We stayed in one of hte cottages that had three bedrooms, but we've stayed in the one-room hillside bungalows before. I personally love the place, and the food is always outstanding.

For me the best location for food in Chiang Dao is the Nest, good and cheap bungalows as well!

The food at the nest is amazing, even more amazing that its tucked away in such a rural resort setting..

The rooms are a bit basic and sub par.. OK if thats what your expecting, just seemed to me you had 4 or more star dining combined with low 2 star rooms..
