So I'm here on a triple entry tourist visa. My first 60 days just expired last week and went to immigration in BKK for the 30 day extension.

I just noticed now that as part of the 30 extension stamp it says the following...

"Notification of residence must be made every 90 days"

Maybe that's completely normal. I'm on a new passport and don't have the old one to check if it's always said that on extension stamps.

Normal? Should reporting of address be made every 90 days when on a tourist visa?

Another interesting thing (or perhaps not?) is that it also says...

"Hold must leave the kingdom within the date specified, herein offenders will be prosecuted"

Again maybe it's always said that and I've never noticed, no way for me to check my old passport.

Thanks

All that is always on the standard extension of stay stamp.

Unless you are here more than 90 consecutive days you do not need to do the reports.

If you stay longer than your permit to stay you are on overstay. Prosecuted is just a harsh way of saying it.
