BANGKOK: -- Police have taken out another arrest warrant for an unidentified man in relation to the pipe-bomb attack outside Siam Paragon shopping mall last week.

Police chief General Somyot Poompunmuang said yesterday the Criminal Court had recently approved the third warrant.

The first two warrants were issued for two men captured on surveillance cameras planting the time bombs before fleeing the scene.

Police have taken action to solve the case, including securing arrest warrants based on available evidence, not baseless allegations or smearing efforts, he said.

A timeframe for finding and detaining the suspects has not been set so that investigators don't come under too much pressure.

How do you get an arrest warrant for an unidentified person. In Australia the most important and very 1st thing you need for an arrest warrant is "Identity" without this the courts will laugh and tell you to bugger off.

Kangaroo court here in the land of smiles rolleyes.gifwhistling.gifclap2.gifcheesy.gif

...an arrest warrant for an as (yet) unidentified person....mmmm....amazing Thailand......cheesy.gif ...the RTP Corporation hasn't a bloody clue who these men are........and (quote)...a time frame for detaining the suspects has not been set so that the investigators don't come under too much pressure"

So the current scenario is..........there is a warrant out for three "suspects".....but we haven't identified them yet facepalm.gif ...and we are not wanting to place ourselves under too much pressure in doing so coffee1.gif

Gee whiz - but this ain't Australia - no Kangaroos or Koalas.

I guess Thai law might be a little different to Australian law in its process. The enforcement certainly is.

Clearly this was a stunt to reaffirm how much martial law is needed.

Chances are no one will ever be found for this.

That conclusion is only clear to those who would like that to be the case.

Clearly, the red shirt / black shirt Thaksin Shin paid militia mercenaries may have done this, so people could blame the military and say it was done to support the need for martial law.

No, I'm joking with you. No one can be clear until the bombers are caught, which given the complete ineptness of the RTP after years of Shin nepotistic control, is hardly surprising.
