YeahSiam Posted February 13, 2015 Posted February 13, 2015 Oh how predictable. thePlank's forum mates have floated to the surface to back him up. You guys have been in Thailand too long. You've adopted the locals' battle tactics - attack in a pack like cowards because, individually, you're not up to much. Surely you can do better than ND's typically asinine 'grindhouse' brainfarts. Ah well, never mind - you can just like each others' posts - that always works.......doesn't it?
RBOP Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 Yes, anything less than B1,000 would be an insult
elgenon Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 Here is another stupid off topic remark to your sensible question. Really boys.
hocuspocus Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 I learnt the hard way at a bar on the Hang Dong road, I did not know about the tip and I upset the guy as I would not park too close to the car in front and the next day I had to take my car to the Nissan paintshop as there was about 20,000 baht of damage to the bodywork (the car was only a few weeks old). It took about a month before the insurance company would agree to do the work as I only had a British driving licence, so I had to explain agressivley that they took my insurance money knowing that I only had a British driving licence and then they agreed to do the work. So now in the same situation I always wave a few 20 baht notes for the attendant. 1
Eric Loh Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 If you are a regular, tip him well and he will see that he reserve a lot for you everytime you turn up. For that, 200B upwards will do the trick. That's for 1 car and whole night earning I was told, attendants get 2,000B each for a busy club.

bkkjames Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 I give em 20 baht to take their torch and whistle and get the <deleted>. . out of the way. 1
thailand49 Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 In General, whether you need him or not.. if this is at a restaurant or club. G.P. 20 Baht.. If like at Big C, Central in Pattaya, nothing, BPH, nothing! 1
ThePlant Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 (edited) Envy? Envious of what? Do tell because last I recall, you actually confessed that your work permit was your most cherished possession. Why in God's name would I be envious of someone sad enough to think like that? Envy at the fact we're not festering in a windowless grindhouse in Soi Ladyboy Spunk which mildly reeks of the stench of Chester's takeaway spaghetti farts, living off mama noodles, actually enjoying successful lives here, unlike losers who have to pretend to have takeaways, constantly looking over their shoulders for immigration officers.....still, carry on raging in your furious envy.... canuckamuck Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 I don't pay because I know how to park. Just like I am perfectly capable of carrying my bags to my hotel room, and I don't need a rubdown when I pee. Not my fault other people can't drive. 1

Mama noodles? I've never even tried them. Grindhouse? Try 120 sqm modern condo Soi Ladyboy Spunk? Try Thonglor Immigration? Nothing to fear; all 100% legal Anyway, HeavyDrinker - oops sorry, thePlank, my back's aching from having to stoop down to your level so I'll go talk with some adults who walk upright for a while
Pigdog474 Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 Most times I give only 20 baht but the other day when I was bringing my mother-in-law to emergency at the Hospital in Nakhon Pathom, I gave the 2 attendants' 50 baht each as they moved some barricades enabling me to park close to the entrance. Maybe I didn't have to pay but I figure since the attendant went out of their way to help me out, I wanted them to know that I really appreciated their assistance. It never hurts to tip. 1
KhnomKhnom Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 Depends if you want all parts of your car still attached when you come back to get it. I tipped 20 baht and came back to missing rear license plate and half of the front cowling almost off. Tip? Yes.
bkkjames Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 guys guys, calm down, valentines is not over, still time to organize a b.j if you hurry lol 2
Jaggg88 Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 Yes, usually a 500 baht tip is normal for those hard working lads. Don't be so tight! I usually give 1000 or even 2000 if they have a whistle
Popular Post neverdie Posted February 15, 2015 Popular Post Posted February 15, 2015 Gee yeahsiam is really worked up and angry, which I find odd as motorcycle taxis normally just drop you at the door and you don't need to pay the car park attendant....perhaps he just realise he's heen ripped off again. Yeah Siam, how many of your digi mates do you cram into a 120sqm metre condo? 4

When one's intellect can't manage a rebuttal, resort to childish name-calling. Anyone would think ND and thePlank's little club imposes a maximum IQ for membership.
Crazy chef 1 Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 Do these attendants only deal with cars or will they help with parking a bicycle? May you ask Bikey....

Have you thought about anger management help? I've seen what can happen if you let this type of thing spiral out of control yeahsiam. I understand you might be feeling envious but getting so upset won't help you improve your lot in life.

I understand you might be feeling envious but getting so upset won't help you improve your lot in life. Seeing as I haven't resorted to childish name-calling and insults, I'd say I don't have any anger to manage but a couple of your gang members have been quite vicious, haven't they? "Trampy loser" hissed Darth Sidious earlier in the thread. "Douche bag" spat the linguistically-challenged Crazy Chef a few posts ago. I wonder why they're so bitter. Can't be sure about the Chef but ThePlank is clearly a HeavyDrinker with an inferiority complex so I've answered my own question. As for you, I feel like I'm arguing with a six year old because you think you can make up for a truly dreadful lack of bantering skill with sheer force of repetition. Hence, "Grindhouse, grindhouse, angry, angry, grindhouse, grindhouse, grindhouse, grindhouse, grindhouse,grindhouse,grindhouse....." 2

Hence, "Grindhouse, grindhouse, angry, angry, grindhouse, grindhouse, grindhouse, grindhouse, grindhouse,grindhouse,grindhouse....." You continue to suggest I belong to a gang and I belong to nothing of the kind. I post here alone and virtually EVERYTIME I come across your path you are posting in some state of frenzied virolic attack. I've tried communicating pleasantly with you and you erupt into a similar state. I even agreed with something you said elsewhere and you came out snapping like a snake with two heads. Now I don't know who is who or what your previous tvf name was but clearly you have issues with some of the posters here, your posting history supports that hypostasise and is evident for all to see. Myself, well you will find people in the forum that might agree with me often as they realise I speak the truth and have reasonable levels of experience in both Thailand and general life matters and I contribute pleasantly to the forum, you however just seem to have an axe to grind and you do it bitterly and no doubt with much teeth clashing. So now you're are trying to hold me responsible for what others here write and I wouldvsuggest to you that perhaps you should concentrate, focus within and have some self control. Clearly you are struggling, perhaps seek professional help. 2

neverdie Posted February 16, 2015 Posted February 16, 2015 Chatting with you boys is like dangling a bleeding toe into a fish tank full of piranhas
neverdie Posted February 16, 2015 Posted February 16, 2015 Only of course, the piranhas don't smell as much and have brighter futures.
