Unusual firearms incident involving East Pattaya Police Volunteer

PATTAYA: -- In the early hours of Sunday a Police Volunteer working from Nongprue Police Station in East Pattaya reported an assault by a man, however the account from the so-called aggressor was completely different and the Volunteer failed to mention that he was armed and his firearm expelled during the fight.

The confusing incident occurred just before 3am on Sunday when the Police Volunteer, Khun Danai, reported the alleged assault by the so-called aggressor, named as Khun Sam aged 29, who later revealed that the pair have been friends for some time.

Khun Sam was located and arrested but claimed the pair were travelling together on a motorbike and both were drunk. At some point during the journey, it is claimed that Khun Danai wanted to fight Khun Sam. The pair squared-off on the street but Khun Danai was overpowered.

    So he drives around drunk at 3am, while carrying his weapon, challenges a friend to a fight, gets beaten, discharges his gun and misses???? this guy is destined for the top.

    Drunk driving should be enough to put the guy behind bars for a while and dismissed from the police volunteer work. The guy is irresponsible plain and simple.
