muluc
hello, so i learned that i can get a 60 days double entry visa from a thai embassy in laos, which can be extended for 30 days... do they ask for a "fly out" ticket with the application and how much do they charge for the vis
ubonjoe
They do not ask for tickets. A 2 entry tourist visa costs 2000 baht.
muluc
..but i already wrote that my passport expires on the 31st. of august this year, if i already got a visa before the 6 month before time, is it necessary to re enter thailand also before the 6 month before the expiration date or is it ok if i got a valid visa? ubonjoe
You would have to do an entry to use the 2nd entry of the tourist visa after the first 60 day entry and 90 day extension. You will need to get a new passport before you do your 2nd entry unless you fly to a country outside of ASEAN. because they all require 6 months remaining on the passport for entry. You can enter Thailand with a passport that has validity equal to your allowed stay. If you get a new passport the visa would still be valid in the old passport and you would show both passports on entry to use it.
