In-out stamp via air travel for exempt visa

Featured Replies

What's the situation with doing 'in-out' same day air travel runs in order to get another 30 day exempt visa? I know a guy who did this several times and in the end almost got rejected entry at airport immigration due to having too many in-out stamps. Will it be a problem for me? My passport is squeaky clean with only a tourist visa and extension in the whole book.

Your profile will allow an "in-out" as described .

It seems inadvisable though.

If the OP meant doing it repeatedly, I think the odds are good that eventually you would be refused entry.

If doing it just one time, why not obtain a 60 day tourist visa, or enter on a 30 day visa exemption and extend in-country for another 30 days?

Since you didn't mention it, a reminder: if you are here on a 30 day (or even 15 day) visa exempt entry, you can go to immigrations and get a 30 day extension for Baht 1900, so you would get about 60 days from one entry.

If you do this repeatedly, back-to-back, you will eventually get a warning or possibly refused entry.
