jdinasia Posted August 24, 2006 Posted August 24, 2006 (edited) ummmm the question is not whether someone understands the difference but if it is LEGAL in Thailand ... which it is not. Edited August 24, 2006 by jdinasia
GoodHeart Posted August 24, 2006 Author Posted August 24, 2006 ummmm the question is not whether someone understands the difference but if it is LEGAL in Thailand ... which it is not. No, the question is the difference between the two. And that difference through recent history stumped the US Supreme Court in their attempts to render a decision as to what can and cannot be considered as smut [read the P word here]. Given the Thai's level of respect for the US justice system, I'm sure in a case like this where all is as clear as mud they're more than happy to render a verdict of mai bpen rai
steveromagnino Posted August 24, 2006 Posted August 24, 2006 And actually, many quality erotics would not necessarily fall under what is deemed illegal by Thai law. - pirated copy or sold without consent of owner = illegal - not passed by the film censor and given a rating = illegal Otherwise..probably ok :-)
