Hello, My family has recently moved to Chiang Mai and I'm looking for recommendations for a saxophone teacher for my teenage son. He plays tenor, likes jazz and enjoys improvising. Any leads would be appreciated. Thanks!

Ask in one of the many music stores that sell instruments. There is a music school on Kao Narawat road right next to the Honda shop.

There is also a music school behind Kad Suan Gaew shopping center. If you need the address and telephone number let me know and I can walk down there and find it.

Thanks for the helpful comments. My son currently has a teacher at one of the local music schools, but the teacher doesn't seems to be much better than my son. I was hoping someone might have some first hand experience with a good teacher in town. Otherwise we will do as suggested and look at some different schools. Thanks.
