Tax office

Normally that's how it's done...they send you a check...depending on the amount of the refund a few offices may just send you a notice in the mail to come get the refund in cash....that's what happened to me on my first year of filing...the second year was a check in the mail...and I'm still waiting for this year's refund check which I filed for on 5 Feb. My Bangkok office has always said it will take 6 to 8 weeks normally and that has how long it has taken....but a lot depends on how fast or slow your local revenue office is...and whether you filed online or manually....appears online filers get faster refunds. There are ThaiVisa posts of folks who got their refund in around 2 weeks. I would give it two months...if not check in two months, then start the followups.
