Honda Nice 110

Featured Replies

Hallo,

I've just been given one of the above. It's in good condition, has been well-maintained and runs sweetly.

I am, though, a little concerned about the fuel consumption as it only seems to be returning about 40 kpl.

I've had a Wave 100 for 12 years and that gives me around 65-70 kpl and I'would have expected near to that from the NIce.

Can anyone, therefore, please tell me if 40 kpl is the norm for a Nice or what I should do to increase it to what it should be?

Thanks

I think the Nice have same engine as Wave/Dream 110cc models?

Yes 40km/l is a bit too low, it should be the same as Wave.

Yours is likely a carb model so that might need fine tuning/cleaning and check the air filter.

Are the wheels rotating freely and are chain/sprockets in good condition (well oiled) and correct tension on chain?

Smoke from engine? Low performance?

Thanks Guzz,

Same as I thought re kpl.

There's no smoke and the performance is very good; surprising even.

Will, however, take it to my mechanic and ask him to check the points you've raised.

Cheers,
