We have a newborn in the family (grand-nephew) with some health problems. His parents help us out a lot and we wanted to see if we could get him better health insurance. We are not completely pleased with his current Thai government insurance.

Our AIA insurance agent is recommending a health/life policy that would run to age 15 with a cash back provision. I have seen other posts recommending mother/child health only policies.

Anybody have experience with this and willing to pass on their recommendations? We are looking for quality of insurance that we could use in private hospitals. Want to avoid those all-day waits in the government hospitals.

There are several polices available for young children/infants but as with all medical insurances there will be an application form to complete where any existing conditions/problems will need to be listed. In the majority of cases these problems will be excluded depending on the severity. Should you wish us to try for you please go HERE
