I would like to address this question to Thai- Ladies as well as Farang-Ladies.

In short: What is it in your opinion, that "level-headed" male "Farangs" often times loose their "level-headeadness" as soon as they find themselves in a relationship with a Thai-Lady?

Or, to make it simple: What has a Thai-Lady, that a "Farang"-Lady does not have to accomplish this?

Would like to hear a "womans point of view".

I know it may seem arriviste of me, since Im new here,

but is there really a difference, between Thai people and other people? The thai people are as broad ranging (and similar to westerners) in their personalities, reactions to the world, interpersonal relationships etc. Maybe its a generational thing?

I really dont see any deep differences, apart from cultural differences (which are evident between all nationalities thai vs aussie vs british vs japanese etc...and usually are rooted in religion/superstitions anyway).

Ladies are ladies whether thai or farang.

Yes cultural difference is the only difference, I been with Farang ladies all my life and my only Thai girl is my recent one, they all think im messy and give me headaches from time to time. Not much of a difference IMO

cultural differences are not to be taken lightly! there is a fundamental divide between thais and westerners that makes understanding each other very difficult. expectations, priorities, morals, ways of expressing oneself are all vastly different. this also makes thais and farangs fascinated by each other because it is a challenge, a bit of novelty. that is what i would say that thai women have over foreign for western men. the exotic perspective and also lightheartedness which often is absent in foreigners. let alone the almost free sex and ego boosts from the invariably sexy lower class.

Holiday spirit, exotic location and exotic looking females, hot weather, a few beers. After that hormones seem to be at work. But it only last a short time.

They would probably be also not so "level-headed" when going to any other holiday destination when spending about the equivilant of 50 monthly local salaries in a forthnight.

And you think that some Thai males with falang women is not looking for the same boost up?

I notice you have not put the word love in as a possiblity. Western female view point or have you forgotten that it may be a very good possibilty?
