Could anyone tell me the latest on single entry O visa retirement with no financial documents?

Reason I am just completing my last B visa 31^st March 2015, and all of a sudden come down with a health problem.

So have had to change things about quickly just to do a visa run, so I can book myself into hospital as soon as I return from Lao.

You will not be able to get a single entry non-o visa for being 50 or over for retirement at any nearby location without financial proof.

If you you do have financial proof Vientiane is the best choice. They will accept 800k baht in the bank proven by your bank book or an income letter showing 65k baht income or a combination of the two totaling 800k baht.

Savannakhet is reluctant to do them and has turned people away with proof of finances.
