My wife informs me that I won't be able to buy beer tomorrow (March 15) due to Pattaya City Elections. Anyone able to shed some more light on that please?

Maybe noi in 7 eleven and the like but always somewhere to get the daily quota,and i betcha i'll see many thais drinking blend as is norm on these so called dry days.

When there were national elections in this country (not to be expected any soon) there were strict alcohol restrictions starting the day before and not ending before election day was over.

But sorry, no idea what kind of elections are going on in Pattaya.

But likely there will be restrictions.

Please not another closing day for the "entertainment venues"!
