Jimmy Sinatra (Pattaya musician) has passed away

Featured Replies

Last week from heart failure. He performed often between Pattaya and Bkk. Was well known in the music community. He was cremated last week in Bkk.

RIP.

Good to see that someone who obviously wanted to be cremated in Thailand was permitted to do so - presumably he died in a hospital and there was no need for an autopsy.

I knew him quite well and was often playing at JazzPit a year or two back when he would drop in and sing.

He was also well received in the prestigious Bamboo Bar in the Oriental Hotel in Bangkok.

RIP Jimmy.

Lovely Guy.

Came to most of my events in The Blues Factory but also all my birthdays as well as my wifes and my wedding reception.

RIP Jim, lovely Guy.

Good music (of whatever kind) is rare in Pattaya.

No, He was English and sang in the style of Sinatra and had that nickname.

I only met him once but a very decent bloke

Being a musician myself, but not a jazz or Frank Sinatra fan, Rip. Jimmy.

I didn't know the man but may he RIP.

The above also caught my eye. I have had about 7 friends that died here and all were cremated, never occurred to me that there could be a problem with that as I intend to leave the stage in that manner myself.
