Not tried this one, but there are soooo many services that promise 'no buffering' and then fail to deliver over Thailand's flaky internet.

Since a 1 month tester is available why not give it a go and report back?

The way the page displays for me, I think that "prohibited" (with a check box in front of it) is a method of notifying Craigslist that the content on the page is prohibited?

The offer does sound intriguing for only B200/month, but of course, it's BYO, so you need some compatible device to connect.

Not blocked but I do see "prohibited" at the top.

Not a bad option, if someone finds the website please pm me.

Go to Craigslist main page than electronics, scroll down and you shall find

he has 2 offers one with like million channels and the one I'm interested in..

I wrote the man he this is his reply:

Thank you for your message and interest.

First of all in order to work you need a decent internet connection, 4mps

download speed, to test google for speeedtest.

Now if your internet is fine, you need to think about the hardware (Tv

Box). There are TV Boxes and TV Sticks where the application can run on.

TV Box is great as a permanent solution in your living room, the stick is

great if you travel a lot and you want to take it with you. With both I

can install additional software for you such as PopCornTime, ShowBox etc

which allows you to watch the latest Hollywood movies. As well as XBMC, to

watch movies from your hard disk or network. Basically it is like a

Android mobile phone, what runs on the phone can run on the box.

The stick with a 12 months subscription would be USD 109

A slighty used box with 12 months subscription would be USD 159

A new box with 12 months subscription would be USD 199

All with free shipping.

After one year, you can renew the subscription or you can continue using

the box.

As for the payment, you can do a bank transfer or pay with paypal.

The list of channels you can find here:

https://mega.co.nz/#!jh1hWSiT!NpgYPOeFFlHmEyHg76TAUom_UFRpoyheo9asZJt3R40

I think the best is to find out if your internet speed is suitable.

Cheers

Following more questions from me he sent this one too:

Hello Again,

The one year subscription alone is USD75 (without box). The price with

box is as per my first email. To renew the subscription for another year

would be USD75 - 10% discount. To start you could buy the box (or use your

tablet) and by a one month subscription (USD20 subscription only)

Shipping and return is from Thailand (Samui).

If you have an Android tablet, I could send you the software with the

password to test for 2 days so that you have an idea of how it works and

the content.

After purchase I can give you 2 weeks, to return it back. For support you

can contact me any time.

Regards,

Ida

I use ilikehd.com no need for box or stick, works from any browser, free android app for phone or android mediacentre 350 baht a month for international channels and servers are in thailand so minimum buffering

I use to be one of their first customers, nice people but their product is unreliable, channels that

you have today, gone tomorrow, freezes and hangs all the time, they look like well meaning

people but with a limited resources....

Not sure I follow the math? The IPTV Smart TV Box on the http://smarttvbox.ecrater.com/ link is $75. (US$ I presume.)

A one-year subscription without the box is US$75.

Why is a new box with 12 month subscription US$199? Or, am I mixing apples and oranges and the box is not the same/correct one?

Every station you are paying for is FREE through Kodi addons.

Not very reliable though hey?

Not at all. In fact I'd say the majority ( >75%) of Kodi channels aren't reliable enough for me.

Lost me there

Not sure how.

I wasn't only agreeing with you, I was saying you're being too kind.

The man is asking foe 12 month fees in advance, yes, that's a bit risky, but at $75 a year

is nothing compare to what truvision is asking, and beside, you have 2 weeks or so

to make up your mind if you what it or not...

dose anyone have a better suggestions or alternative?

I use Robin Hood addon and more than 75% work. There are untold numbers of addons streaming live tv. Basic Kodi does not have TV channels its up to the user to enable it and install addons. Your statement is not true.

Yep - MaigeTV - it has a huge selection of HD English TV channels, plus thousands of English Movies and TV series on demand. Similar subscription prices, slightly more expensive STB prices, and has been working for years, with only maybe 1 or 2 hiccups in all that time.

Tried and Proven, IMHO.

My statement is true, although my geographical location is probably different to yours.

Why would I lie? You think I want the damn thing to be so crap?

My location Thailand. I don't think you lied at all. I call what you are experiencing "user error." Once you learn the right addons to install and use, things will work great for you to include TV both live and streaming. It takes time and patience learning the system but once you do, you really dont ever need to pay for service again. Its a big learning curve but, worth every bit of it. I watch channels everyday without issues....

I've been using XBMC and OpenElec for a long time, and you haven't mentioned any add on I haven't tried. I have 16Mb ADSL and they mostly still buffer. But maybe being in the sandpit is an issue.

BTW I've tried two android apps that are from the service mentioned in the op and they both work well, although it's an interesting selection of channels.

The best IPTV I've got is a mag250 from Spain with most of Sky TV. Near flawless.

The channels on offer in the op are free to watch with your own android box from Lazada Thailand, for about ฿2500. All programs are preloaded. The free stuff buffers constantly and as far as I'm concerned, it's unwatchable.

No need to pay this price for free stuff. Try ilikehd.com as mentioned previously. It works reasonably well and represents good value for money. I have no connection with the company other than being a customer.
