Here is the problem. It's called PERCEPTION! How Americans perceive Iranians as opposed to the reality of the Iranian people. Example: Here's reality when it comes to university engineering grads when comparing the US to Iran as just one example of that fallacy. Trump and the majority of the US population totally underestimate who the Iranian (Persian) people are. And that will prove to be fatal analytical (or lack of) for American military if Trump decides to show "those dumb goat-herders a thing or two about the Most Powerful Military in the World" (who by the way got beat by the North Vietnamese, the Iraqis, and the Afghan Taliban). Iranians are on a different level from those last three adversaries. And dear Donald - you've lost. Go have yourself a TACO. Source: Grok inquiry: Per Capita Engineering Graduates Using mid-range 2025–2026 populations and the commonly cited UNESCO-style figures: Iran: ~233,695 graduates ÷ ~92.8 million population ≈ 2,518 graduates per million people. United States: ~238,000 graduates ÷ ~348 million population ≈ 684 graduates per million people. Iran produces roughly 3.7 times more engineering graduates per capita than the United States. Even using lower-end estimates for Iran (~200,000) and higher-end for the US (~238,000), the ratio remains ~2.5–3 times higher for Iran. This gap is even starker when using stricter bachelor's-only figures for the US (~141,000), pushing the US per capita to ~405 per million—making Iran's advantage closer to 6x in that narrower lens.
