If you have a work permit, it is not a problem in getting a one year multi entry visa.

Nifty bit of editing there Mr Sunbelt :o

Went to KL earlier this week and breezed through the process using the attached file as a guide for the documentation required.

I do however possess a work permit, which as stated above does make things somewhat easier.Document_Required_for_Non_Immgrant_B_Visa_KL.pdf

Perhaps I should have made the OP more clear........

Has anyone been to Penang recently to get a 1 year "O", non -immigrant visa?

I already have mine, but several friends wish to do the same....Is it still possible to get them?

I have just arrived back in Thailand today with a 1 year "O", non -immigrant visa from Penang. If you have the required documentation it should still be no problem to get the 1 year O visa in Penang.

the minibus now goes via to the laos border.....then on to mae sai....and then back to pai...leave at 2300....arr pai 1700....totally knackering....this allows two hours for the stamp,...and to allow the driver to get his head down...both for his sake.. and ours!
