At some stage power in this land will return to civilians, what will become of Prayuth then? If he is jailed then we will know that Thailand is finally free, if he remains free then we will know that democracy has yet to take hold and the people are not yet sovereign.

You must know something I don't. When was this governed by civilians?

Intermittently since 2001. The difference is that after 3 successive coups Thaksin now knows there is no deal to be made with his foes, they simply aren't interested in peace or compromise, they just want money and power, so what happens to Prayuth? Is it to be a jail cell or the Privy Council?

Privy Council would only be fair, after all his services to the institution. And Gen Prem is getting old!!
