A quick update on the Garage Sale: over half the tables have now been booked, so get in quick if you want to sell anything.

Why from only 8.00am to 11.00am? That`s only 3 hours, when many of us are still in bed recovering from the effects of all the booze the night before.

Surely making this in the afternoon, from around 11.00am to 5.00pm would have been better.

Too hot after about 11am and anyway most of the stuff is usually sold by then. It's usually really busy early on with long queues to get in at 8am, so most of the best bargains go quite early.

We used to make it till noon but the last hour was a waste of time. Only a few hungover farangs wandering around. (joke)

Maybe have a night off the booze for a change? ;-) There's usually a good coffee stall and often a good bakery stall too to complete your breakfast rehabilitation, though sadly the German family who used to make great Kaseküche have gone back home.

Final update on the LIST Garage Sale. Almost all the tables have now been booked - get in quick for the last few.

There'll be over 65 stalls selling second-hand books, toys and household goods, fresh coffee and bakery items, and a whole lot more. Come early (8am) for bargains, cooler shopping/browsing and breakfast.
