Three students cleared of role in bomb blasts
The Nation

BANGKOK: -- THREE UNIVERSITY students were yesterday released after it was found they were not involved in three bomb attacks in Narathiwat's Mueang district in February that wounded 13 people and damaged 47 houses.

The three are Haseng Geelemor, Albaree Abah, Usman Ohyoo.

More than 20 students yesterday visited the trio, as well as four other people being detained as suspects in the bomb attacks.

The four are Rosaree Yakoh, Amari Wannamat, Isama-ae Jehsoh and Kareeya Jehma-ae.

Eight other students who had earlier been rounded up as suspects in the bomb attacks still face probes.

Security officials said the students had given useful statements that revealed who might be the masterminds behind the attacks and who else might have been involved, including those who rode the motorcycles used in the attacks and those who acted as look-outs.

Officials believed 11 people were involved in the operation, including seven people who had also committed insurgency acts in Pattani province.

Officials vowed to arrest them soon.

Should they really be telling the press this?

Most definitely not but silence doesn't make headlines and give the impression of being on top of things.

Meanwhile....the real culprits are back in the magazine preparing more IEDs.....!
