Uk To Bkk/ Phuket

Featured Replies

Hi guys ,

Any reccomendations for cheap flights from the uk ( prefferable birmingham but london ok)

My father is coming out to see me in oct , can fly any day any time and return 2 weeks later.

Is he better just booking to bkk and then booking an internal carrier when he gets there to come phuket or can u now get direct flights here , or are they considerably more?

If you have ideas on price that would be great.

Thx in advance

Emirates are you best choice from Birmingham to Bangkok. A cheap onward ticket from Orient Thai or Air Asia would complete the journey to Phuket - about 1,700 Baht one way

Take a look at cheapflights.co.uk and you will get a pretty good

idea of the range of fares available. I am travelling out early Oct

got a fare of £375 with qatar airways out of heathrow through

Airline Network or £369 available from gatwick. Probably better

you book the domestic sector separately.

N47HAN, Hi have a look at EVA air. They have direct flights from London, dont know about birmingham for 390 + tax which works out around 450. Also Singapore are doing a special of 505 again direct. I used to go via Kuwait as it was only aroun 400 but going direct is much better. Hope this has helped, Cheers Dunc :o

Emirates from Brum, possibly Lufthansa and KLM, all with stops. No direct flights to Phuket except charters which usually start November. Going via KL is another option.

Recommend www.trailfinders.com, www.dialaflight.com but ring them. Also www.southalltravel.co.uk and www.airline-network.co.uk are mentioned a lot for cheap flights. Ask for price with one night cheap accommodation and cost usually drops if flying with thai.

  • 2 weeks later...

Manchester to BKK via Abu Dhabi £412 inc taxes on a new airbus with tv screns on the backs of the seats and reasonable flying time.

I booked recently and got mine via dial a flight and I found that via teletext on line where the best and cheapest flights seem to be listed.

THere were flights from LHR to BKK for £359 but not same quality aircraft and longer stand overs.

Hope this helps.
