Man in South Pattaya Suffers Head Injuries in Attack

Featured Replies

A Polish tourist was attacked in South Pattaya. The 55-year old man was attacked by a bouncer that had a metal hook. The incident took place on April 6th at the Skyfall go-go bar. The man, Rafal Jakowicki, was taken to Bang Lamung Hospital as a result of the attack.

Police went to the bar to question the owners and employees about the incident. The two bouncers that were working that night state that Rafal was drunk and was asked to leave the bar. Becoming irate, Rafal punched one of the bouncers, which led to the vicious attack against the tourist.

Panu Limchoo, the bouncer blamed for the attack, has been detained and is being charged with causing physical and mental harm.

The inspection also included urine samples of all dancers and staff. All of the samples tested negative for drugs. A barman states that the bar is owned by 24-year old Supattra Cholopon and an operating permit was not available. The barman states that the permit will be presented at a later time.

The tourist police are calling for a temporary closure of the bar due to Skyfall tarnishing Thailand and Pattaya as a prime tourist destination. The letter asking for the bar’s closure will be presented to Chon Buri’s governor.

That usual comment never gets tiresome.

Why are we getting two day old news that I have read about elsewhere.

Plus it had a photo of the Polish man bleeding from the attack showing it was over the top

I would prefer more current news

Bouncers with hooks. It's good to see his disability did not stop him getting work and a job with a degree of job satisfaction. Well done.

its a step up from being a pirate I guess

Tarnishing? Really? What was that saying about "You can't polish......... something or other"?
