webfact
UDD's request to commemorate 2010 bloodshed rejectedBANGKOK:-- Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister Prawit Wongsuwan said Wednesday that members of the United Front of Democracy against Dictatorship or red-shirt movement must individually hold religious rites at their own homes to commemorate their peers killed during the 2010 crackdowns.Prawit said troops were also killed in the incidents so if the UDD was allowed to hold a rally, it would escalate into a political issue.Source: http://www.nationmultimedia.com/breakingnews/UDDs-request-to-commemorate-2010-bloodshed-rejecte-30257655.html-- The Nation 2015-04-

It's a typical move of leftist group. For memory, UDD never recognize killing in rank of official who make their duty to restore peace and order. Despite fact, evidence and criticize from international community, UDD never recognize existence of armed element in their camp. You are joking right? So holding a rally, organized by self appointed leaders of a movement associated with terrorist and criminal actions wouldn't have been political? Maybe the UDD leaders and their paymasters should show some respect for the deceased as Costas suggests rather than use them as a propaganda chip as they usually do.

You do have the right to express, something in short supply at this trying time. Just that the word "save" is way off the mark. Here you have a military with overwhelming fire power against a static target and the majority of those killed were civilians, journalists, nurse and taxi drivers. If the casualties were MIB, I say well done but when the casualties are civilians, I called this brutality. More like the protestors needed to be saved when you faced with M16 and live ammo. To me it's indiscriminate and disproportionate use of force. That will be remembered in Thai history as another atrocity by the military.

So you concede the people who perished in 2010 were sacrificed pawns ? As I have been saying for the past five years ? As far as the innocent people who died on the public streets at the hands of the redshirts, a terrorist organization working on behalf of PTP, they were just plain murdered as far as I am concerned. A disgrace to compare the two scenarios.

It was again the reds that created the violence against peaceful protesters in 2014 that were NOT barricaded and were NOT armed (although they did arm themselves later on after they were bombed and shot at many times) and did not come to the protests with the mandate to burn down Bkk. The protesters in 2014 were the victims of red violence as were many innocents including many children that were again blown up by RPG's by the red thug terrorists. How you can keep spinning this insane stupidity when the facts are right there for you to see is beyond reason. It just goes to show the true ignorance of the human race and leaves me with little hope of a sane future.
