Nakornchai bus station

Featured Replies

If I'm driving from Pattaya Tai, what's the easiest way of reaching this bus station. Can I u-turn on Sukhumvit after Klang, or should I take Klang instead and turn right onto Sukhumvit?

Yes, I can u-turn after Klang, but it's a long way.

There's a couple ways to skin this cat:

1. If driving north on Sukie from Tai, you can keep going past Klang intersection to the light at the Chevy dealership...and just beyond there is a proper u-turn. Then make your way all the way to just past the Klang intersection and the bus station is there on the left.

2. Go east from the top of Tai through the temple gates at the Tai/Sukie intersection and make you way to the railroad parallel road and make a left (heading north). Take this to either Nern Plub Wan or Siam Country Club and make a left to Sukie and make another left and drive a few hundred meters to the bus station. (Technically, the stretch of NPW from the RR crossing to Sukie is now one-way heading east but seems most everyone still treats it as a two-way street.)

There is no longer any right turn on Sukie from the top of Klang...only left heading north. SSCC intersection is closed and nearest u-turn is as described above.

Great! Thanks. #2 is a good tip!

If you're really ambitious, on the railroad road, about 500 meters past Kaow Noi, there is a cut-in soi on the left, you can make a left here and at the other end is Sukie and the bus station. There is also a parking lot on the right just before Sukie behind the bus station,
