should I use Thai address or Australian address on Thai Visa application

Featured Replies

hi,

I am wondering if it matters what address I put as my residential on a Thailand Visa application, when lodged in Australia?

I Live in Thailand but think it maybe a bad idea to put the Thai address? is this right?

my life would be a lot easier if I could put an address in WA where I used to live and still work but I am worried the passport and visa will be returned to my old address... can I get it sent to a different address (PO Box) than what I will say I reside at in WA? Can I say I live on a mine-site (which I do)

OR should I get it sent to my parents address in NSW and get them to send it back to my Post office post pox in Perth? which means I will have to send it from Perth to Canberra Thai Embassy to country NSW back to Perth (premium express post) within 10-11 weekdays :(

Thanks

Mick

If you can get mail where you are working I would use that address.

Edit: Just looked at the embassy and noticed this. http://canberra.thaiembassy.org/visa.html

ANNOUNCEMENT
All visa applications by mail must provide
A pre-paid, self-addressed Express Post Platinum return envelope

That indicates to me you can put whatever address you want to on the application form.
