Passing by Surin close to my visa exp. date (18th). Have they any office for tourist visa extensions there?

Or do I need to jump the border? I'm leaving Thailand for work 27th.

Kap Choeng Immigration Office does Tourist Visa extensions, at least according to this:

As said Kap Choeng Immigration 60 km south of Surin on highway 214 will take care of you. 1900 bath,passport photo. They reopen tomorrow April 16.
