Need A Marriage Visa

Featured Replies

Hi All

I live in Chiang Mai and need to go out to get a marriage visa, perferably a multiple entry type. Im looking for the most cost effective place to go. I was going to go to Kualar Lumpar as Air Asia fly direct but I got told Vientienne in Loas would be quicker to process and cheaper to get to. Does anybody know if that is so and how I could get there from Chiang Mai.

Any other suggestions on places to go would be appreciated.

You get a spouse with marriage - not a visa.

Believe KL is indeed your best bet to obtain a non immigrant multi entry O visa to visit your spouse. You will need marriage certificate and copy of spouse ID card (and recent reports have indicated a need for spouse residence proof and even having 400k in a Thai back account being requested by some Consulates). Believe the single entry non immigrant is easier to obtain and then you can extend your stay if you meed the immigration requirements.
