7 or 30 days ?

Featured Replies

I understand that you can get a 30 day extension for a tourist visa or visa exempt.

However, can you use the same procedure to get a 30 day extension when your 90 day extension of stay for student ED visa expires or are you limited to 7 days ?

Reason I ask is extension based on ED visa expires tomorrow however my year of study / enrollment concludes on May 14th and I imagine they will only stamp me for 24 days up to this date, not the usual 90 days. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Heading back home for a while on the 28th so was hoping for another option.

Cheers.

Do you have a VISA or an extension of stay ? Whichever the a 30 extension period is not available.

When you say "stamp in" are you referring to applying for a further extension of stay ? If so you are correct you will be "stamped" until the end of the course.

A 7 day "extension" during which a person must leave the country is available at a cost of 1900 Bht

A 7 day extension is all you cant get other than to apply for the normal 90 day extension and see what you get.

Thanks for the prompt replies.

I thought as much. I'll apply for the usually ED extension and hopefully they don't pick up on the fact my course ends on the 14th.

Cheers.
